Scion xB (winner to choose the color)
The Scion XB, dubbed an 'urban utility
vehicle', has been the brand's cornerstone model
with the broadest appeal among Scion buyers.
The XB is powered by a 158-hp 2.4-liter
four-cylinder engine, mated to a five-speed manual
transmission. A four-speed automatic transmission
with manual shift mode is optional, and both
gearboxes are controlled through a high-mounted
shifter, which falls easily into the driver's hand.
Standard equipment includes six airbags, a vehicle
stability control system with traction control,
four-wheel anti-lock disc brakes with brake assist,
16-inch wheels and iPod connectivity. Following an extensive redesign in 2008, the
Scion XB carries over unchanged for 2009.
